Shipping policy

Shipping and Delivery Policy

1. Delivery Zones

Items offered on the online shop or through custom orders can be shipped to the following destinations:

  • Mainland France

  • French Overseas Territories (DOM-TOM)

  • European Union countries

  • Monaco

For delivery to any other international destination (outside the European Union), please contact me directly by email so we can evaluate the feasibility, costs, and shipping arrangements together.

2. Shipping Fees

Shipping costs are the exclusive responsibility of the buyer. They are calculated automatically during checkout on the online shop based on the package weight, dimensions, destination, and the selected delivery method.

For custom orders from the "Exhibition Prints" (Tirages d’exposition) range or for "Open Edition" products involving custom options requested via email, shipping fees are calculated on a case-by-case basis and clearly stated on the prior quote. Prices are net (VAT not applicable, Article 293B of the French General Tax Code / CGI).

3. Processing and Shipping Times

As each piece is handled with the utmost artistic care, preparation times before shipping are as follows:

  • Standard Items (Classic Open Edition prints, collector envelopes, merch): Processing, printing, preparation, and drop-off at the post office generally take between 15 days and 3 weeks after payment validation.

  • "Exhibition Prints" Range and Custom Orders via Email: These unique or personalized pieces require complex, on-demand production (choice of fine art papers, specific formats, high-end finishes, Dibond mounting, or floater frames). Manufacturing and secure rigid packaging generally take 45 to 60 days before shipping.

In the event of exceptional circumstances or the artist's absence (business travel, photography assignments), the buyer will be immediately notified by email regarding any delay in processing.

4. Transit and Shipping Liability

Once the package is prepared, it is handed over to the selected shipping company (La Poste, Colissimo, or a specialized private carrier for large formats).

Delivery conditions, package handling, and compliance with transit times are under the exclusive responsibility of the shipping company chosen to transport the pieces. Florian Sanna aka AbuzOne shall under no circumstances be held liable for delivery delays, strikes, or logistical failures of the carrier. No delivery delay shall entitle the buyer to compensation, damages, or interest.

5. Secure Packaging

Each artwork or item benefits from reinforced packaging tailored to its fragility:

  • Lightweight items and collector envelopes are shipped in reinforced rigid cardboard envelopes or mailers.

  • Unmounted Open Edition prints are carefully rolled in protective paper and shipped in high-resistance rigid cardboard tubes.

  • Exhibition prints or pieces with specific custom finishes are packed in specialized crates or ultra-secure custom protections.

6. Customs and International Taxes

For orders shipped to a country other than mainland France (notably outside the European Union and French Overseas Territories), the customer acts as the importer of the artwork. Customs duties, local taxes, import duties, or state taxes may be claimed by local authorities. These sums are outside the scope of www.abuzone-shop.fr and are not collected by the website. They are the exclusive responsibility of the buyer, both in terms of declarations and payments. It is strongly advised to check with your country's customs authorities before placing an order.

7. Mandatory Procedure Upon Receipt (Transport Damage)

The transport of fine art photography requires absolute rigor upon delivery:

  • Inspecting the package: When the package is delivered, you must meticulously check the condition of the packaging. If the package is visibly damaged (bent, dented, opened, wet), you must refuse it without opening it. This refusal must be accompanied by a precise, handwritten reason noted on the carrier's or mail carrier's signature sheet (e.g., "Package refused, packaging crushed and torn, product exposed"). Please contact Florian Sanna aka AbuzOne by email within 48 hours.

  • Inspecting the content: If the delivery driver agrees to wait, check the condition of the print in their presence. If damage is discovered after opening a package that was delivered intact, you have a legal period of 3 days (Article L 133-3 of the French Commercial Code) to notify your claims to the carrier via registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt. Contact Florian Sanna aka AbuzOne immediately, providing explicit photographs of the package (before and after unpacking) and the damaged product, so that an exchange or refund procedure can be initiated with the carrier.

In the absence of specific reservations made within these timeframes, the delivered products will be deemed compliant and accepted as-is by the buyer.
