Right of Withdrawal and Return Policy

In accordance with European Directive 2011/83/EU and Articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation), the terms of withdrawal and return vary depending on the nature of the products purchased.

1. Right of Withdrawal — Standard Products

The following products, available directly on www.abuzone-shop.fr, benefit from the legal right of withdrawal:

  • Open Edition photographic prints (non-numbered);

  • Numbered limited edition prints with fixed sizes and finishes (identical for all buyers);

  • Lore objects and artistic decor items manufactured in advance and available in stock.

1.1 Period and Exercise of the Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, you have a period of fourteen (14) calendar days from the day after receipt of your order to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to provide reasons or pay penalties.

To exercise this right, you can use:

  • The mandatory legal form "Withdraw from the contract here", accessible at the bottom of the website page (no login required);

  • Your customer account on www.abuzone-shop.fr;

  • An email sent to contact@abuzone.fr containing your order number, name, and address.

An acknowledgment of receipt will be sent to you by email as soon as your request is validated.

1.2 Return Conditions

Following the notification of your withdrawal, you have an additional fourteen (14) days to return the item. The item must be:

  • In its original condition: unused, undamaged, with original tags and packaging;

  • Placed in suitable protective over-packaging for transport;

  • Accompanied by the receipt or proof of purchase.

Return shipping costs are the exclusive responsibility of the buyer. Any item returned without a prior accepted request, or that is damaged, incomplete, or soiled, cannot be accepted for return.

1.3 Refunds

In accordance with Article L221-24 of the French Consumer Code, the refund of all sums paid (including standard outbound delivery costs) will occur within a maximum period of fourteen (14) days from the date we are informed of your decision to withdraw. This period runs from the actual receipt of the returned product or the provision of proof of shipment.

The refund will be issued via your original payment method. If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved and you have not received it, please contact us at contact@abuzone.fr.

2. Oversized / Non-Standard Items — Specialized Shipping Surcharges

Certain large-format artworks or items with specific fragility constraints require specialized shipping (custom packaging, specialized art carrier, etc.). These surcharges are indicated separately and clearly at the time of order and must be expressly accepted by the buyer before validation.

In the event of withdrawal for these items, the 14-day right of withdrawal applies fully. However, in accordance with Article L221-24 paragraph 2 of the French Consumer Code, only the shipping costs corresponding to the least expensive standard delivery method offered will be refunded. The surcharge related to the specialized shipping method, expressly accepted during the order process, will not be refunded.

3. Exclusion from the Right of Withdrawal — Custom Orders

In accordance with Article L221-28 12° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal is excluded for goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized.

As such, Made-to-Order Exhibition Prints are strictly excluded from the right of withdrawal: prints produced on demand with custom choices of size, finish (matte, baryta, glossy), or mounting option (Dibond mounting, floater frame, specific framing, etc.), ordered by email from contact@abuzone.fr.

No cancellation, return, or refund will be accepted once the order has been validated by payment. If you have any questions regarding a product's eligibility, please contact us before purchasing at contact@abuzone.fr.

4. Gift Cards

Gift cards are excluded from the right of withdrawal and cannot be returned or refunded.

5. Damaged Items or Delivery Errors

Please inspect your order carefully upon receipt. If an item is defective, damaged, or does not match your order, contact us immediately at contact@abuzone.fr, attaching photos of the package and the product. We will assess the situation and do our best to resolve it (replacement or refund). Please refer to the detailed receiving conditions in our General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

6. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. Please return the item using the withdrawal procedure (Section 1), then place a new, separate order once the return has been accepted.
