From Urban Gesture to Living Tableau
Photographer, author, and artistic director Florian Sanna, aka AbuzOne , constructs fictional universes where narrative and material are inseparable. With a background in graphic design and deeply influenced by graffiti culture, he has developed an approach to the image as a space for total construction.
Reclaiming Yourself
The heart of AbuzOne's approach lies in the Mauvaizelève series, conceived as an initiatory journey and a mapping of the margins.
Through recurring characters – the Bad Student , Ms. Blind , Kesh – the artist explores the individual's place in the face of social structures and expectations. Each image is constructed like a living tableau, symbolic and textured, which depicts not downfall, but gentle resistance : a recovery, a rediscovery of inner light.
His philosophy: To convey through images that fragility and doubt are the foundations of all great strength. It is a work that is both introspective and political , inviting the viewer to recognize themselves in the story of those who refuse to disappear.
